The Col Coa, City of Lights, City of Angels, French Film Festival returns to Los Angeles Monday, April 21, 2013 thru Monday, April 28, 2014. Adults are invited to a free screening of a French film on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in the Renoir Theatre at the Directors Guild, located at 7920 Sunset Boulevard. Don't panic if your French is a little rusty. It has English subtitles - just like the attached trailer for the provocative Jeune et Jolie, which will have it's West Coast premiere during the film festival.
Let French cinema surprise you with this unique experience: a "blind date" with an exclusive new film. The title will not be announced until you arrive. Chances are you haven't seen it since this is the first time the film will be shown in the United States. No reservations are accepted, so come early. It's first come, first served. Prefer a guaranteed seat? Buy tickets to other screenings for up to $11 each here .
Previous "blind dates" include Rendezvous in Kiruna (2013), Early One Morning (2012), Angele & Tony (2011) and An Ordinary Execution (2010).
Rather know what's showing in advance? Watch for invitations to free screenings on Col Coa's Facebook page one or two days beforehand.
