Free Betty Carter Jazz Concert @ Anacostia Community Museum this Sunday March 24

The Smithsonian Anacostia Museum celebrates Women’s History Month with a free concert.

The museum presents its “Washington Women In Jazz” series.

“Pianist Amy K. Borment and vocalist Jessica Boykins-Settles present and perform material by one of the jazz greats—vocalist and songwriter Betty Carter. Free but please make reservations by calling 202-633-4844,” the museum announced.

Betty Carter is one of the giants of jazz and you don’t won’t to miss this free affair, but as the museum suggests, make reservations.

The event is slated for this Sunday, March 24 from 2:00PM-4:00PM. See you there.
