Reading is one of the most important things a parent can encourage their child to do! Reading opens a whole new world to children through imagination and fact. Target annually supports educational programs in the communities around them and this Saturday, February 25, 2012, they are hosting "Read with the Trees, Please!" from 9am - 11am.
Each year, Target does a Reading Across America Day that coincides with Dr. Seuss's birthday (March 2nd). Target will have Dr. Seuss readings by Target Team Members, fun activities, and giveaways! Please see here for more information and here to find a Target near you! Please call your location first to make sure they are participating!
Locally, there are Targets in Penfield, Greece, Chili and Henrietta. Although all Targets are supposed to participate, it is always a good idea to call the store first to confirm.
