This Saturday, June 7, for the second year in a row, the Glencoe EAA Chapter 92 will host the I Can Fly event offering free airplane flights to children aged 8 to 17 who have special needs along with their families or caregivers. This is part of the Young Eagles program and last year's event was such a success that they have added a location for this year's fun.

The first location is at the Glencoe Municipal Airport in Glencoe where the festivities will run from 8:00a to 12:30p. In addition to flights, they will have hot dogs, chips, cookies, and beverages. This year's added location is with EAA Chapter 25 at Airlake Airport in Lakeville where they will offer light refreshments in addition to the flights there. Lakeville's event will run from 9:00a to noon.

Availability is limited, so sign up quickly with the number of people, ages, and preferred flight times. For Glencoe, contact Greg Regnier at 952-442-1078 or via email at gregceal@embarqmail.com for reservations. For Lakeville, contact Kris Olson at 651-675-6826 or via email at ksimpson2@yahoo.com for reservations there.

In case of inclement weather, rain dates have already been selected; Friday, June 13 from 6:00p to 9:00p at Glencoe and on Saturday, June 28 from 9:00a to noon in Lakeville.
