Free Agents That Need A Fresh Start In 2013

The NFL season is over and all of us fantasy football fanatics are down in the dumps. We look forward to the NFL draft in 3 months, and the 2013 season in 8 months. We go to bed thinking how Doug "muscle hamster" Martin might slip cause the sophomore slump enigma, and how we would love to get him late in the first round. We dream about stealing MJD in the late 2nd round because of his injury plagued season. We wake up thinking "Man, I would love to have Colin Kaepernick for a full season." Then we come back to reality and realize that we have to make do with Lebron James dunks, and Mike Trout catches. To keep us sane we have the draft, sleepers, and free agents switching teams. here are some of the free agents that I think need a fresh start in a different city.

Dwayne Bowe- With Andy Reid coming to Kansas City the team is sure to improve offensively. They still don't have a solid quarterback in place to get Bowe the ball. They also lack other threats on the outside so Bowe sees a lot of double teams. I think a move to a team with a proven quarterback would benefit him. I think he would be a nice fit in San Diego.

Ramses Barden- This guy is big, and when given playing time showed he could produce. He needs to go somewhere that he can be a 2nd or 3rd option. He had Nicks, Cruz, Bennett and Randle ahead of him in New York. I think he would fit well in Carolina opposite Steve Smith, and would give Cam Newton a nice option in the red zone.

Felix Jones- Sure this guy hasn't been able to stay very healthy in Dallas. I still feel this guy has a lot of upside, he kinda reminds me of Reggie Bush. Reggie Bush couldn't stay healthy for the Saints but then went to Miami and was pretty productive. Jones might just be a 3rd down back and returner but I think he could be more if given the chance. I think he would fit well in Detroit, where he could catch a lot of balls in that pass happy offense.

Matt Moore- It might just be me but I think this guy can play a little. He looked good at the end of the 2011 season, and I thought he should have got a shot in 2012 with Miami. Ryan Tannehill looks like he could be the answer Miami, but I still think Moore could start somewhere. I think he would be a fit in Jacksonville to compete for the starting quarterback job or possibly Arizona.

Delanie Walker- This guy is a good blocker and pass catcher. The only problem with him is that he is stuck behind Vernon Davis. I think given the chance this guy would shine as a number 1 tight end. It kinda reminds me of when Martellus Bennett was behind Jason Witten. Colin Kaepernick has also used the outside receivers more than the tight ends so Walker should go elsewhere. He would be a great fit in Atlanta if Tony calls it quits or possibly Tampa Bay if Dallas Clark is let go.
