Washington DC movie fans have a chance to attend a free advance screening of Hercules, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and directed by Brett Ratner. Based on the Radical Comics series, The Thracian Wars, the film centers on the powerful hero of Greek myth, as he and a band of mercenaries help the Thracian king end a bloody civil war. To do it he'll need to train an army and overcome unimaginable villains that will test the demigod's legendary might.
The screening takes place on Thursday, July 24th at 6:00pm (note the start time!) at AMC Georgetown. To enter, you must first subscribe to the DC Movie Examiner Email Newsletter to receive instant alerts for future advance screenings, movie news, and movie reviews. Send an email with 'Hercules screening' in the subject line to email@example.com with your name and favorite Dwayne Johnson movie. Winners will be selected on Monday, July 21st and provided a link to download passes to the event. Passes are good for the winner plus one guest.
Please bear in mind that passes do not guarantee entry. Seating is first come first served, and the theater will be overbooked to assure full capacity. Attendees will want to arrive at least 60-90 minutes early to assure entry.
Hercules opens on July 25th.
