The white sand of Long Beach is the host site for Nivea's popular AVP Tour. Sunday concludes the tour's top 16 teams in a two-day battle that has showcased the AVP's best competitors. Competition started on Saturday and will resume on Sunday, play begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends following the finals around 4 p.m.

If you can't make it down to the LBC, or if they don't make a SPF strong enough for you to enjoy the sun and fun live, the men's final will be shown live at 4 p.m. on ABC, and the women's final on ESPN2 at 11 p.m.
Local sand favorites
Local pro-volley ball players competing are; Former Long Beach State All-American setter Misty May-Treanor, Matt Prosser, Santa Barbara finalist Brittany Hochevar, Ryan Mariano and Jen Snyder. Sand stars, Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers were back where they left off in July of '08, with a 29-match AVP winning streak.
AVP Club Seating
While there is a fee to enter the AVP Club: volleyball fans will have access to shade, food, drinks.
Beer Garden
At Stadium Court there will be a fenced-in space for dehydrated fans who want to visit the thirst quenching Beer Garden. Fans can part-hearty and enjoy AVP sponsor's Malibu Rum, Bud Light Lime and Barefoot Wine while also catching some serious rays and the weekend's biggest matches.
