The southern California group SoCal Museums (formerly the Museum Marketing Roundtable) is sponsoring a unique and exciting event on Saturday, January 25, 2014. According to the press release the ninth annual “Museums Free-For- All” will give travelers and residents alike the opportunity to visit twenty different museums free of charge.

The twenty different venues will offer a wide variety of art, science, cultural history and natural history. This popular annual event provides a great chance for the budget minded traveler to choose particular themed museums of interest and get in for free.

The offers are for general admission and do not cover any additional special events or exhibits at the museums. Regular parking fees will apply. It is recommended that visitors check museum websites for details about hours and other information.
