Free admission to LACMA and live music on Martin Luther King Jr. day (Video)

Thanks to Target Free Holiday Mondays, you can save up to $15 per person when you visit the Los Angeles County Museum (LACMA) for free on Martin Luther King, Jr. day, January 21, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Special tickets to Stanley Kubrick and Bodies and Shadows: Caravaggio and His Legacy, however, will have to be purchased.

Bilingual tours, live music, and art activities are all part of the free Martin Luther King, Junior day celebration. Arrive early. Timed tickets to the Boone Children's Gallery on the 2nd level of the Hammer building, will allow for a thirty-minute visit. Story Time is at 2 p.m. Tickets will be available on the day of the event in the Boone Children's Gallery on a first-come, first-served basis.

At 12:30 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., jazz, blues and pop singer, Ernie Andrews will pay tribute to the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr. with a special concert.
