The Smithsonian Media is proud to host its sixth annual Museum Day on Saturday, September 25th which offers free admission for two to participating museums across the country. If you have ever been to Washington DC to experience the value of a free visit to one of the Smithsonian museums, you can get that right here in Dallas and North Texas.
By visiting their website and downloading a ticket you can get free admission for two on 9/25 to one of 14 area museums around the DFW Metroplex. The main sponsor is the Toyota Avalon and they have a special tour for 5 exclusive museums across the US and our very own Dallas Museum of Art is one of them. There will be an exclusive museum day tour there beginning at 1 PM. Other supporting sponsors include Microsoft and Citgo.
Also, guests can download special podcasts through the Smithsonian magazine at area museums.
