Veterans Day is Monday, November 11, 2013, but LEGOLAND Florida is celebrating those who served for not just one day but seventeen. All veterans can receive free admission everyday from November 1-17, 2013, and their families (up to six accompanying guests) can receive discounted admission for only $40 (plus tax)!
LEGOLAND is geared toward families with kids that are ages 2-12 and features 50 fun rides and attractions, including the new World of Chima area. There are waterski shows, gorgeous botanical gardens to stroll through, roller coasters, exciting stage shows and so much more. If you haven’t been yet, this is a great opportunity to get in the gate for a whole lot less and enjoy the fantastic fall weather in Central Florida.
Veterans just need to show their military identification at the ticket window on the day of their visit. Here, they can also purchase up to six additional tickets for family members for only $40 plus tax. Nice deal.
Once inside the gate, you'll want to head over to Miniland U.S.A. and check out the pomp and circumstance happening in Washington D.C. It's decorated extra special for the occasion. You'll also love all the extra Florida locations that you won't find at any other LEGOLAND, including the Daytona 500 Speedway, Key West, St, Augustine and even South Beach. You simply won't believe the detail that their master brick builders were able to capture, in LEGO bricks!
Additionally, on Veterans Day, there are extra special ways to celebrate and give thanks:
- Come early to open the park and be a part of a meaningful celebration
- Help build a huge American flag made from LEGOs
- Veterans can take advantage of a 20% discount on select retail, food and drinks
Be sure to check out their online calendar for other special events as well as opening and closing times before you go at www.LEGOLAND.com. Happy Veterans Day to those who served. We all thank you.
