Fredrick Redd is the CEO of Assai, a Management Consulting firm in mid-town Manhattan. Assai Management Consulting is an award winning boutique firm entering its 10th year. Assai is known for providing strategy, change management and project management advisory, and implementation services for mid tier to top tier firms in financial, energy, transportation and engineering.
Fredrick Redd earned an engineering degree from the University of Texas, MBA from RIT, and studied voice at the Julliard School. For a little more than 20 years, I have known Frederick Redd to be very ambitious. I can remember seeing him, during my visits to his family's home in Houston, Texas, snapping his fingers and singing around the house at 11 years old. Over the past 15 years, Fred has performed over 20 leading operatic roles on some of the world’s best-known stages including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall while earning a reputation as an award-winning executive. Fred said, "I was always told I could not be an opera singer, engineer, and a business executive. Choose one or the other." Mr. Redd has taught Business at Syracuse University, engineering at New York University, vocal Master Classes at Brown University and Salem College.
When I asked Fredrick Redd, known to me as Freddy or my little brother, if he ever though of expanding his firm along the east coast to Baltimore or Charlotte he responded; “I am interested in exploring the possibilities.” In 2012, Fredrick was recognized in the Marquis “Who’s Who in the World” and “Who’s Who in America”.
