Gospel music artist Fred Hammond performed live at Verizon's How Sweet the Sound promotional event in Dallas on Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Verizon Wireless Cedar Hill store. Gospel music fans were able to learn more about How Sweet the Sound and the upcoming 2011 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in Dallas on Feb. 4.
Gospel fans can get a taste for Verizon's How Sweet the Sound experience when the awe-inspiring 2010 winning church choir performs live at the 2011 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration in a lineup that includes gospel legends such as How Sweet the Sound co-host CeCe Winans and resident judge Marvin Sapp.
The Super Bowl Gospel Celebration will take place on Feb. 4, at Music Hall at Fair Park on 909 1 Ave., Dallas, TX, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.SuperBowlGospel.com.
"Verizon's How Sweet the Sound Gospel Celebration is a special experience and we are thrilled to bring it to Dallas for the first time this year," said Frank Antonacci, region president for Verizon Wireless.
"We understand the impact gospel music has on communities and fans. We encourage Dallas area residents to experience the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, Cedar Hill community celebration and the How Sweet the Sound tour this fall."
Choir representatives interested in learning more about registration for Verizon's How Sweet the Sound Gospel Celebration can visit www.HowSweetTheSound.com or select Verizon Wireless retail locations until Friday, April 15, to learn more and sign up. Participating choirs will have the chance to rejoice in song and praise, perform in front of gospel greats and fans, and win up to $50,000.
Verizon's How Sweet The Sound came to Houston's Toyota Center on September 9th of last year.
