Elizabeth Moss has filed for divorce from Fred Armisen. The "Saturday Night Live" actor and his soon to be ex wife have only been married for eleven months.
Elizabeth Moss filed the divorce papers to end her marriage to Fred Armisen in LA on Monday. The "Mad Men" star cited irreconcilable differences as the reason.
According to People Magazine, Moss officially listed the couple's separation date as June 26, just eight months after the couple married.
A source revealed that the pair's busy and conflicting schedules played a major part in the end of their marriage, such is the life of a Hollywood couple.
Fred Armisen and Elizabeth Moss met in October of 2008, when Moss' "Mad Men" co-star Jon Hamm hosted "Saturday Night Live."
Fred Armisen got his start in show business when he moved from Chicago to New York in 1988. Armisen began playing the drums for the punk rock band Trenchmouth.
While playing the drums in the band, Armisen discovered his love for acting. According to Wikipedia Fred revealed his desire to work on television. "I wanted to be on TV somehow. For some reason, I always thought it would be an indirect route; I didn't know that it would be comedy and Saturday Night Live. I just wanted to do something with performing that would lead me there."
Before landing a coveted role on "Saturday Night Live," Armisen worked on television shows such as, "Crank Yankers," "The Conan O'Brien Show," and "Adult Swim."
Armisen has also appeared in movies like "Deck The Halls," "Anchorman," and "The Rocker."
