"Freaky Tiki" auction

Silent.  Formal.  Pretentious.   Are these words synonymous with 'auction' in your vocabulary?  If so, then it's time to come to Neshoba Unitarian Universalist Church!

Neshoba's annual auction is a tremendously important fund raiser.  It's also one of the year's biggest parties.  2010's theme is "Freaky Tiki" and guarantees to be memorable.  There will be a silent auction featuring amazing items, plenty of food and drink, and contests galore, culminating with a live auction.  Festivities begin at 6:00 pm on February 27th.

Tickets are $20 per person or free with a donation of food or items of equal value for the event.  Childcare, complete with pizza and games, is available for $10 per child.  Pre-registration is a must.  Contact Carolyn Clements [crclements@earthlink.com] by February 24th to reserve your children's spot.

Dress is festive Hawaiian.

To help, consider the following ideas: contributing item[s] to the auction, bringing food, volunteering, or donating items.  With the auction, be creative.  Think outside of the box and utilize your talents.  Carolyn Clements [crclements@earthlink.net] coordinates the auction goods.  Yvonne Barnard [yvonne.barnar@stjude.org] welcomes all the culinary help she can get.  If decorations, ticket sales, and clean-up sound appealing to you, contact Dorthy Norris-Tirrell [dnrrstrr@memphis.edu].  Finally, Tracy Love-Silver desperately wants your luau-themed decorations [tracy@philanthropytn.com].

This is one luau you definitely don't want to miss!
