A handsome, two-year-old Husky, named "Sarge," has until 5 p.m. today to be saved from certain death.
The dog is kenneled at the Roswell Animal Control in Roswell, N.M., and he must be rescued today, by 5 p.m., or he will be put down.
Desperate networking efforts are underway on the Roswell Urgent Animals at Animal Control Facebook page.
Though many people have offered to transport, and several have contacted rescue agencies, as of Friday morning, no plan for the blind dog's fate are currently in place.
At 8:45 a.m. (PST), one of the people who had contacted the facility noted that nobody else had contacted the animal control on this dog and they confirmed that the dog would not be held past 5 p.m.
