There are Las Vegas acts and then there are those entertainers who break out of the Las Vegas Strip bubble to capture the world’s attention. Frankie Moreno is one of those up-and-coming stars who can sing, dance, and play several instruments with smoldering good looks and a body that just doesn’t stop.
Frankie Moreno Live at Stratosphere performs at the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower with his ten-piece band featuring classic covers and original music written by Moreno and his brothers. Every song is performed live by Moreno’s ten-piece band, which features horns, strings, guitars, drums and Moreno dazzling the crowd on piano, guitar and the harmonica. The show is more of an experience with entertainers and celebrities dropping by and the lighting and staging comparable to big stadium performances.
With Valentine’s Day coming up, the Stratosphere is offering The Frankie Moreno Valentine’s Dinner and Show package. The romantic evening starts with a 4-course gourmet Valentine’s dinner created by Executive Chef Rick Giffen and his Top Of The World staff. During dinner, the all-time romantic film classic, “Casablanca,” will be played on multiple huge screens around the theater. After the meal, guests will be entertained by a special live Valentine’s show by Moreno and his 10-piece band.
The dinner will begin with a Love Puff featuring choice of shrimp and scallops or chicken and artichoke, both served in a heart-shaped puff pastry with béchamel sauce. Next course is an iceberg wedge with nueske bacon, oven roasted tomato, white wine Dijon vinaigrette, Maytag blue cheese and chopped chive. Entrée options include chargrilled filet mignon with red wine reduction and choice of oven roasted free range chicken with white truffle oil or pan seared organic salmon with shitake mushrooms and lemongrass beurre blanc. A Chocolate Fantasy dessert completes the meal.

Moreno debuted as the headline act at Stratosphere Theater Nov. 9, 2011 to rave reviews. What made the night even more memorable was the fact that Moreno performed as a lounge act at the Stratosphere before becoming a headliner at several venues before returning to the Stratosphere.
“The welcome my band and I have received at the Stratosphere is absolutely amazing,” Moreno said.
“This is the kind of live show that made Las Vegas showrooms famous,” said Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower General Manager Paul Hobson. “By the end of the night, the audience is out of their seats and Frankie is on top of the piano, playing backwards.”
Moreno and his ten-piece band perform every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. in the Stratosphere Theater. Tickets are $29.99, plus tax.
