Frankie Ballard celebrates new album release in home town of Detroit, Michigan

On Feb. 14, it was announced that country singer Frankie Ballard celebrated the release of his brand new album, "Sunshine and Whiskey," with fans at a sold-out show at Coyote Joe's in Detroit, Michigan, that took place on the previous night. He is signed to the record label, Warner Music Nashville.

Ballard is expected to play upcoming shows in Orlando, Florida, as well as in Nashville, Tennessee. His latest radio single "Helluva Life" is already a Top 10 hit on country radio and it sits at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot Country Airplay charts this week. "Helluva Life" is the lead single from his newest CD, as well as his fastest-rising radio single to date. It has been a commercial success, thus selling over 300,000 digital units. The single has garnered rave reviews from many music critics, including the online news publication Digital Journal.

A native of Battle Creek, Michigan, Ballard has opened for such artists as Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift and Bob Seger.
