Frankenweenie, Wreck-It Ralph nominated for Best Animated Film at The Oscars

The Oscar nominations were announced this morning by show host Seth Mac Farlane and actress Emma Stone. The awards will take place on February 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Nominations for the 85th Academy Awards® were announced by the show’s host, Seth MacFarlane, and actress Emma Stone on Thursday, January 10. This was the first time since 1972 that an Oscar show host has participated in the nominations announcement.

MacFarlane and Stone unveiled the nominations at a 5:30 a.m., PT at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The awards will take place on February 24 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
