'Frank the Entertainer' highlight: Frank and his parents meet their possible future in-laws (ep. 11)

Frank and his parents met their possible future in-laws on episode 11 of "Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair," and while some relationships were an instant bond, others caused a lot of cracks in Frank's relationships with certain women.

Dana's firestorm

Of course, meeting the in-laws brought a whole new perspective of all of the women to Frank and his parents' minds. Their first issue was with Cathy's mother not coming to visit when she only lives about 20 minutes away, but the sting of that would all fade away once they got to know Dana's mother - the in-law from hell!

Find out if Dana's mother's opening behavior got Dana sent packing

Dana was scared to death to have her mother show up, and we can definitely understand why after watching one hour of her. She walked in like a hurricane, complaining to her daughter that she didn't want to be there and swearing up a storm. She didn't say hello to anyone in the house, and immediately stormed off to the bathroom telling Dana she was really upset with her. When she did finally come out of the bathroom she couldn't stop ranting about how she didn't understand what her daughter was doing with Frank and what a bad seed Frank was. She was bashing Frank left and right and had no problem telling Frank she had issues with him when he finally came to sit with her. He tried to convince her that he isn't the bad guy she thinks he is and tried to convince her that he could take care of his daughter. She warmed up a little bit, but you could tell she still really wasn't buying what he was saying.

Family dates

To get to know the families better, Frank took the women and their family member(s) on separate dates.

On his date with Kerry, Frank felt there was something Kerry wasn't telling him, especially when she started to talk about the many boyfriends Kerry has had in her life. Kerry had a hard time hearing about her parents' divorce and said she was very uncomfortable hearing Frank and her mom talk about something she doesn't even like to talk with her mother about. One big thing Frank learned while on the date was that Kerry easily becomes attached to men because she didn't have her father around when she was going around.

On his date with Felicia, Frank was shocked to find out that she never really brought boyfriends home to meet her family. Her mother just chalked it up to the relationships not being serious, but it was definitely a red flag to him that she couldn't fully open up to her mother.

Frank actually brought Dana, her mother, Cathy and her sister to dinner, perhaps as a buffer for Dana's crazy mother. The funny part was that Frank and Dana's mother were actually bonding on the date, not in a dating way but in a we-can-tolerate way. Although, I have to admit there was a little bit of flirting happening that started with Frank. It was really uncomfortable, and you could tell the girls were not happy. During their date, Frank pulled Cathy and her sister aside, and things just went severely down hill for Dana after that. Later that night, things started looking up again, at least for Dana's mother, when the women and their families had dinner with Frank and his family, and everyone started to notice how much Frank and Dana's mother were flirting with one another. Even Frank's mom realized that Dana's mother was hitting on her much younger son. It was beyond inappropriate.
