Frank Ocean has decided not to press charges against Chris Brown. In a report on hiphopdx.com, Ocean posted on his tumblr page, “As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person. I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit.”
Recently, Chris Brown faced the risk of having his probation revoked if Frank Ocean pressed charges against him. Brown is still on probation after assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Previously, police reported that Frank Ocean wished for Chris Brown to be prosecuted after the altercation at a West Hollywood studio. In a report on ABC News, Brown allegedly punched Ocean over a parking spot. Afterwards, Ocean posted on his twitter, “Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys.lol. I only wish Everest was there.” Both artists have been nominated for Grammy awards.
