Frank Ocean Grammy performance: 'Forrest Gump' singer makes statement (video) (Photos)

Frank Ocean had a huge evening at the 2013 Grammys including a performance of his hit song "Forrest Gump." After the Feb. 10 performance, Frank Ocean took to Twitter with a one-word response to critics.

Frank tweeted, "Deaf." There were several complaints about Ocean's performance - many of which stemmed from his seemingly under pitch singing - the singer didn't have much to complain about.

Clad in a yellow suit and a sweat band, Ocean performed at a keyboard hidden behind a large television which projected running legs in a matching yellow suit.

Frank Ocean, though he didn't win the best new artist Grammy, did take home two awards. He beat out rival singer Chris Brown in the best urban contemporary album. The win came just days after Ocean and Brown had a parking lot altercation at a Los Angeles recording studio.

When Ocean was announced, Brown politely clapped, though he remained seated while Frank Ocean received his award.

Ocean also snagged the Grammy award for best rap/sung collaboration for for "No Church in the Wild," with fellow rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West.
