Frank Miller is a legend in time

Last night was the end of an era, the culmination of 20 years of ring work, of training future legends and the epitome of how professional wrestling should be. Frank Miller ended his career with an off the charts match against long-time friend and at times hated rival Flash Flanagan with a victory. The two have been involved in a heated feud since Flanagan returned to Ohio Valley Wrestling the one-time WWE developmental and current TNA developmental area.

Trading hard shots, kicks and acrimony as well as victories for weeks, bleeding for the business they love and showing the respect they have for one another and wrestling, fans in Louisville, KY were treated to an example of not only two veterans busting their ass for those who buy a ticket but were shown two veterans in command of their sport.

The final match would see the one time Jack Slayer and most notably Trailer Park Trash (a moniker bestowed upon Miller by Jerry Lawler) defeat Flanagan and gain a measure of revenge against Josette Bynum, who has been double-crossing and trying to overthrow Miller in his position as Executive Director (a new Executive Director has been named in Michael Hayes) by putting her through a table.

"It's been a great ride man, I couldn't be happier with what I have done but it is time to ride off into the sunset and pass along everything I learned and know to someone else" Miller said.

Flanagan returned to OVW after wrestling in Puerto Rico for some time being as successful there as he has been in the states. The former WWE light-heavyweight title contender said of his match with Miller, "I had unfinished business with Trash and even though I lost on Saturday who is retiring? Goal accomplished..."

Miller has been instrumental in helping to train a number of WWE and TNA SuperStars including John Cena, Randy Orton, ODB, Tara, Batista, The Bashem Brothers and more. Though having stepped down as the Executive Director Miller will still be an Executive Trainer for OVW and an important part of continuing the OVW tradition.

"Whether we are on the apron together or standing across the ring from one another there is and will only be one Trailer Park Trash, one Frank Miller" Flanagan added.
