Constructed in 1900-1901, the residence--like many Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie School designs--features art glass windows that drew inspiration from local plants. The Bradley House's tulip windows are intact, and the art glass adds form and function. Wright used the plant-inspired glass screens to add privacy, but also beauty, connecting the indoors and the outdoors. The tulip art glass design was used only in this residence, situated along a picturesque riverbank.

The restored Bradley House once served as headquarters for a small bird house factory. The Bradley House now stands as an interpretive museum open for guided tours, as well as events. Renovated stables house a gift shop. For Frank Lloyd Wright fans, this house is a special treat because across the lawn is another Wright-designed residence. Though not open to the public, visitors can observe the exterior architecture of the home.
