Frangelico liqueur coffee cocktail recipes and photo competition

Cocktails Examiner

Frangelico makes a fabulous base for
coffee cocktails with its rich hazelnut character. The bottle speaks to its historical origins dating back 300 years to the time of Christian Monks living in the hills of Italy. It is believed the artisanal distilling of the day, wild hazelnuts readily available and the monks living in the area make up the heritage, legend and name of Frangelico. With that the bottle stands tall draped to give the impression of a robed monk complete with rope belt.
Tasting Frangelico brings an infusion of toasted hazelnuts, sweet vanilla and of course deep cocoa buried within. This combination lends itself to the perfect liqueur for
hot coffee and hot chocolate accompaniment. Frangelico tastes fabulous in
traditional style cocktails as well, which is why this liqueur has been featured on some of the world’s trendiest bars in Australia, Singapore, France and the United States.

I sometimes enjoy a little Frangelico with an after dinner cigar. I'll try these recipes the next time I roast some coffee at home.
