The couple's announcement to People Magazine read "We have mutually decided to end our marriage. We'll always be family and continue to cherish our relationship based on the special love, integrity, and respect we have always enjoyed."
Ms. Judd could usually be spotted at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a big floppy hat and a sundress. Mr. Franchitti won an exciting victory in the Indianapolis 500 last year, in 2012, after battling Takuma Sato on the very last lap of the race for a nail-biting finish. The 2012 Indianapolis 500 was one of the most exciting races in recent years, and is reported to have the most lead changes in the race's history.
