Pairing wine with food can be a delicate balance. Some diners have favorite wines, but other guests are willing to experiment. Learning about regions and varietals can make the most ardent Napa wine lover appreciate a stunning Italian red. Francesca’s Amici wants guests to take a journey to the Piedmont region of Italy at Taste of Piedmont.

The annual Taste of Piedmont is an educational wine and dine experience that explores the Piedmont region of Italy. Piedmont is known as a wine lover's paradise with varietals such as Barolo and Barbera. For the event, Francesca's Corporate Executive Chef Massimo Salatino creates a five course meal that transports diners to the region while Corporate Wine Ambassador Joe Fiely explores the wines of the region.

“Piedmont is a region in Italy that’s unexplored by the traditional tourist, which allows to showcase nebbiolo grapes pairing perfectly with the menu that Chef Massimo Salatino created,” Corporate Wine Ambassador Joe Fiely says. “We’re excited to offer guests at Francesca’s Amici a dining exploration touring the tasting notes of each wine presented.”
