Frédéric Malle’s new perfume guns have a focus on making your house a home, Malle known for his expertise in perfume-making, has branched out into the creature-comfort world of home scents, transforming an ordinary space into a personal sanctuary. Embellish life without being invasive has been Frédéric Malle’s motto since working on home scents. The new PERFUME GUNS convey this philosophy in a different manner. They were designed originally to apply our fragrances to hotels or other large areas.
Frédéric Malle loved them so much that he started using them at his home, which allowed him to choose the best scents and to refine their concentrations for this new medium. Turn the hose in the SPRAY position and pull the trigger as many times as you wish to create your own personalized atmosphere.
Although they contain the most precious fragrances, the Perfume Guns are derived from industrial sprays. They can either be used to generate a new atmosphere for special occasions, or used daily. The later will generate a layering effect; the scent will then become part of one’s home. Like a person that has its signature scent, each place can now have its olfactory soul in the form of 1er Mai, Café Society, Jurassic Flower, Rosa Rugosa or Russian Nights, another way to make it unforgettable.
Perfume Guns, an innovative staple to the home collection since 2011, will launch three new scents: Un Gardénia la Nuit ($185), is a hyper-realistic rendition of the enchanting scent of natural Gardenias: vegetal, fruity, and milky Chez Monsieur($145) is a masculine, take-charge scent of a den that infuses its environment with a healthy injection of woody testosterone, and Marius & Jeannette ($145) is a trip around the world, the smell of the invigorating Mediterranean Sea and an evocation of mint and anise.
