Fox's Jana Winter wants to delay until June in James Holmes' case

In an update letter (PDF) released Mar 20, 2013, Fox News reporter Jana Winter's lawyer notified the judge that Jana Winter didn't get the appellate court to temporarily allow her to stay off the stand in the James Holmes' Aurora theater attack case, but will look at a full request which won't be complete until four days after she is scheduled to testify. The defense wants to know who told her about the notebook that Holmes sent to his psychiatrist Fenton.

Winter has also asked the NY appeal court to hurry up, but that request won't be completed until May 16, 2013. The court of appeals then won't be able to consider it until their June session.

Winter has also asked the judge to wait until her rights in New York can be exercised. Her lawyer still has not stated if she was in New York or Colorado when she received the tip about the notebook.
