Do you remember the television show that took ugly ducklings and turned them into beautiful Swans? Well the show is back, The SWAN and it is getting a face lift this time around the show is looking to make over celebrities.
Fox network is reviving “The Swan” the plastic surgery makeover series will bring on female celebrities and give them the opportunity to have plastic surgery on the show to reinvent themselves for a comeback. Since having plastic surgery is somewhat of the norm in Hollywood for celebrities maybe using celebrities on the show might put the TV critics at ease since some of them were harsh toward the original shows concept.
According to EW (Entertainment Weekly) here is the official logline for the two-hour special: “Celebrity Swan will feature female celebrities and will offer these popular women the incredible opportunity to undergo physical, psychological and career changes as cameras follow them through the transformative process. This opportunity will allow these women to come back better than ever, have a second chance at personal and career redemption and re-introduce themselves to their supportive fans in a whole new way.”
Deadline is reporting that the two-hour special will bring back the original creator of the Swan, Nely Galan and producer Arthur Smith. The show is currently casting and potential celebrities could be former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and Happy Days sweetheart Erin Moran.
The new version of The Swan, Celebrity Swan will debut later this year on FOX.
