Fox has granted renewals to “The Following,” “New Girl,” “Raising Hope,” and “The Mindy Project!”
“The Following,” which premiered in January, has been renewed for a second season that will consist of 15 episodes. Regarding the renewal, Fox president Kevin Reilly stated this: “From the very beginning, we felt Kevin Williamson and Marcos Siega had created a high-quality, edge-of-your-seat drama that could break from the pack, and it is exciting to see the audience responding. Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have given us two of the most compelling characters on television and the entire cast is incredible. I’m delighted to have this thrill ride continue for another season.”
The network has also renewed three comedies: “New Girl” will be returning in the fall with a third season, while “The Mindy Project” will enter its second season and “Raising Hope” will be sticking around for a fourth year!
“Bones” was previously renewed for a ninth season.
