Fox is planning a new reality show that will attempt to lure silly women with royal dreams of marrying Prince Harry. Of course, a Prince Harry look-alike named Mathew Hicks will actually star in the show, according to a March 27 report on MSN.com.
There will be 12 women who will compete for the affections of someone they may be led to assume is Prince Harry of England. Fox claims in a press release that they will be making these ladies’ fairytale dreams come true, but they are actually exploiting them, according to the Washington Post . They ran this quote from the Fox press release:
“Join ‘Harry’ as he courts each of the ladies, taking them on romantic dates worthy of a princess and trying to make some version of their fairytales come true.”
Have you stopped to think what level of intelligence someone must have to think that they could win a chance to marry Prince Harry of England? Do they think that Queen Elizabeth signed him on for the reality show?
This reality show’s premise goes a step beyond presenting "Housewives" or "Moonshiners" and their lives. They are going to be recruiting people to humiliate under false pretenses, although the producers explain that the women will never actually be told that they are competing to marry the prince.
"I Wanna Marry Harry" will debut on May 27 in the U.S., but it is not known whether the show will ever be seen in the U.K.
