Fox News to the GOP: Obama, 'try to impeach him!'

A recent Supreme Court case sparked more outrage on Fox News leading to one host to advise the Senate Minority Leader to try to impeach President Obama.

During a recent broadcast of "The Kelly File," on Fox News, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spoke with Fox News host, Megyn Kelly. During the conversation, Kelly brought up a Supreme Court case that involved President Obama's use of recess appointments, which Kelly described as an "overreach."

“And the question is whether beyond this case, what is perceived by some as presidential overreach, really can be resolved, in your view, by the courts...We've had lawyers, constitutional lawyers come on this show and say, OK, so when that happens, when you have a president who, in your view or the view of some, is out of control in terms of overreach, you as the lawmaker really have two meaningful options...And the main one that has been used historically is, try to impeach him! I mean, is that ever considered?"

McConnell wouldn't comment on the issue of impeachment directly, but this isn't the first time the right-wing media or conservative politicians have brought up the idea of impeachment. While the dream of an Obama impeachment is still on the mind of those on the political right, the reality is that it will never happen, not even in their wildest dreams.
