Fox News not renewing Dick Morris' contract (Video)

Last month it was Sarah Palin, the former darling of the Republican Party, who was dropped by Fox News and TVNewser now reports that political commentator and one time Bill Clinton advisor Dick Morris is also out at the Fox News Channel.

Fox will not renew his contract when it comes up for renewal, an FNC spokesperson confirms. Morris had not appeared on the network for three months, but announced via Twitter on Tuesday that he will make an appearance on competitor CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight.

Morris infamously predicted a landslide victory for Mitt Romney in the 2012 election, which he would eventually be forced to retract. Morris and Karl Rove, who infamously refused to accept Obama's victory on-air on Election Night, were put on the sidelines at Fox News shortly after the election, though Rove has since returned to the airwaves.

Morris had also been criticized for accepting paid advertisements on his website from candidates that he discussed on the air at Fox. Before his contract expired, he had been a staple on some of the top-rated shows on Fox News, particularly Hannity and The O'Reilly Factor.
