Fox News hosts on Occupy pepper spray attack: It's just a food product (VIDEO)

When a video surfaced this week of a police officer pepper spraying peaceful protesters at the UC Davis campus, there was outrage across the country. The protesters weren't fighting police, they weren't causing riots, they were simply sitting on the ground exercising their First Amendment right of free speech. Since the attack, the police officer and Chief of police have been put on leave, however, not everyone is upset about the attack. Who could defend the despicable acts of the police offers? Leave it to Fox News to stand up with bigotry,

The outlandish host of "The O'Reilly Factor," Bill O'Reilly, spoke in defense of the police saying that we shouldn't criticize them because UC Davis is a "liberal campus". Megyn Kelly also put her two conservative cents in claiming that the pepper spray wasn't so dangerous because it was a food product.
Megyn Kelly: “it’s like a derivative of actual pepper. It’s a food product, essentially.”

How Fox News can claim to be "Fair and Balanced" is beyond the realm of reasonable thinking. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone though, Fox News is nothing more than a mouth piece for the Republican Tea Party and these statements are just another example of their right-wing bias.
