Fox Lake Venetian Night and Block Party August 1

The 2^nd Annual Venetian Night and Block Party will be held in the Village of Fox Lake on August 1, 2009. The theme of this special event on the lake will be “Vegas on the Chain.” Boaters will bring Vegas to Fox Lake through decorations, lights and costumes, as they boat along the shorelines for the enjoyment of the spectators on the shore.

The Fox Lake Venetian Night and Block Party brings bright lights, decorations, fireworks, dancing, food and fun to the lakefront for a great community event. The Venetian Night and Block Party will have a fireworks finale over Pistakee Lake, after the boat parade. Boats will start the parades at Freddie's Famous Roadhouse and head north to Docker's, at the end of Grand Avenue in the town of Fox Lake, Illinois.

Venetian Night August 1, 2009

• Block Party at 6:00 pm
• Boat Parade at 7:30 pm
• Fireworks at about 9:30 pm
• Dancin' in the Streets Block Party at Dockers following the Fireworks Finale

The registration deadline for boaters who want to join the parade in July 31. The registration form is available on line at the Fox Lake website.
