Fox fires sport anchor for opposing gay marriage, then lies about it

Some have known for quite some time that Fox News is not at all conservative. Yet to listen to the endless propaganda from the far left, one would think otherwise as those on the extreme left continually write about the “extreme” and “right wing” views coming from Fox News. Fox News is socially liberal and fiscally conservative at best, and has proven to be just as biased on many issues to the left, inlucindg most social issues, immigration, and even union issues. It was the Fox News channel that reported on Scott Walker's legislation in Wisconsin as an “anti union bill.”

Fox Sports has fired football analyst Craig James, a former running back for the New England Patriots, from his position with the network for supporting traditional values and opposing same-sex marriage. James also ran in the primary for U.S. Senate in Texas as a fiscally and socially conservative Republican. Vision to America reports that a spokesperson for Fox Sports told the Dallas Morning News that James was fired because of his opposition to same-sex marriage based on religious beliefs.

Vision to America reports, “Officials for Fox Sports, whose vice president earlier said one-time football analyst Craig James was fired for his beliefs about and support for traditional marriage, now say those statements were false, according to a complaint filed with the Texas Workforce Commission.”

It appears that Fox News told the truth at first, firing James because of his opposition to same-sex marriage, which no doubt pleased the homosexual political movement that Fox seems to want to appeal to, and then when they likely realized they could face a anti-discrimination lawsuit on the basis of religion, tried to cover for it by having a Senior Vice-President of Communications put out a denial that James was fired due to his religious values in opposition to same-sex marriage.

“But now, “during a sworn deposition,” Fox Sports President Eric Shanks “stated that the Senior Vice-President for Communications and spokesperson for Fox Sports Lou D’Ermilio made false statements to the press,: Vision to America reported.

Fox Sports got caught in a lie and tried to cover it up. Eager to pander to homosexuals and not face a religious discrimination lawsuit, they chose to life. How they are facing such a lawsuit anyway, filed by attorneys with the Liberty Institute on behalf of Craig James.

Lefties take note of this before putting any more inaccurate claims about Fox. Fox (news and sports) is NOT “right wing,” not even conservative.
