Fox delays the start of Human Target after the demise of Lone Star this week

Human Target moved to Wednesdays in November
Human Target moved to Wednesdays in November

The FOX Network is taking swift and drastic action this Fall Season when it comes to their programming. After the surprising cancellation of Lone Star after just two episodes this change actually makes quite a bit of sense. If they had waited for a mid season launch instead of putting up a new show against the likes of "Dances With The Stars" and the series premiere of the star packed "The Event", it just may have found it's voice and it audience and been one of the success stories instead of the first cancellation of 2010.

"Human Target" will also move to Wednesday nights instead of the death zone of Friday nights, traditionally the worst TV viewing day of the week. Repeats of "House" will fill the time slot left on Friday nights and the third season of "Lie To Me" will move to the empty "Lone Star".

In the first episode of "Human Target" Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) is distraught after saving his friend Winston (Chi McBride) and is thinking about retiring from the hero business. Enter a new beautiful mysterious very rich widow (Ilsa Pucci (Indira Varma) who wants to hire Chance. She then becomes a silent partner and Chance's boss. Tahmoh Penikett ("Battlestar Gallactica") is set to join the cast as Ilsa's head of security.

The second season of "Human Target" will premiere Wednesday 8/7c on November 17, 2010. TV Rated PG-13 LV

  • Mark Valley - Christopher Chance
  • Chi McBride - Winston
  • Jackie Earle Haley - Guerrero
