Fox and Hound Chicagoland Openings

Another beer-embracing tavern chain is making its way into the Chicago suburbs. Fox and Hound will be opening up pilot locations in Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Bloomingdale and Aurora in the next month.

CEO Marc Buelher says, “We listened to our guests and have redesigned our spaces and menu to better meet their desires for the best neighborhood gathering spot.” Each space has been designed to be rustic and comfortable, utilizing communal table seating and couches to create a community feel. Additionally, 30 HD TVs, pool tables, ping-pong tables and assorted board games should keep the crowds happy.

While their beer selection will surely please the masses, we’ll have to wait and see how the beer community embraces the venues. Over 100 beers are slated to be offered, with a chunk of the menu dedicated to craft breweries.

Hopefully, they can build enough bridges locally to bring in a wide variety of Midwestern breweries and styles. Something that will also help bring in the craft beer nerds like you and I.
