The “Fox and Friends” cast was a bit more frisky than usual this morning, as they were seen behind the scenes in the 5 a.m. hour when the “Fox and Friends First” show airs live. Watching Gretchen Carlson, Steve Doocy, Janice Dean and Judge Napolitano in the pre-dawn hours on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, made you wonder if there was something in the water over at Fox.
Gretchen did a segment with Judge Andrew P. Napolitano and when they were done, the camera cut out. Then the camera scanned back over the two behind the scenes, which looked as though it was unexpected by the Judge and Gretchen. The camera cut back in and it appeared as if the Judge was kissing a giggling Gretchen’s hand. This looked like a scene out of an old English movie when kissing the hand of a lady while saying farewell was the trendy thing to do. These folks really know how to have a good time.
They then got serious with reporting the news; doing a segment on the sequester and talking about President Obama possibly being known in the future as “the president who cried wolf.” This is due to the gloom and doom Obama warns of when the sequester deadline passes today, despite what the experts say. This just won’t be as taxing on the public as the president claims, suggests former NYC Mayor Giuliani, who blasts the left's sequester scare tactics today.
From there, Janice Dean, the weather forecastor for Fox, took one of the new cars for 2013 for a ride. She calls Steve Doocy “baby” and tells him to get in and buckle up. As they get ready to pull away she announces she doesn’t have a license because it expired, but she’s just going “around the block.” Now that she's announced this on air, this well-known personality is taking a chance driving around NYC where she is recognized by many, including the NYPD!
The morning show at Fox continued with this level of friskiness as Janice did a little dance later on in the show, while doing the weather. She did note “this will probably end up on YouTube.” Yes, it seemed as if there was something in the water at Fox this morning making them a fun group, more so than usual, to wake up to!
