In St. Petersburg, another person has been arrested in last week's attack on an 83-year-old man in Pinellas Park.

St. Petersburg police arrested a 20-year-old man overnight after discovering who was involved in the April 1 attack on the elderly victim.

Pinellas Park police have also arrested three teens in the battery of the victim, who was returning from a drugstore to his apartment complex when the teens tried to rob him.

One teen assaulted him with a knife, slicing him several times in the arm, then ran off with two friends and the victim's car keys. The victim's car was stolen later that same day. Those arrested range in age from 13 to 16.

Late Monday, police apprehended the only adult wanted in connection with the attack. Police said the adult, whom they described as a career criminal, did not put up a fight when officers knocked on his door.

The man has previous arrests on charges of carjacking and was released from jail in November after serving three years for two counts of carjacking and resisting an officer with violence.

The man is now facing charges of armed robbery and violation of probation. He is scheduled to make his first appearance in court on those charges Tuesday afternoon
