More than fifty Oakland restaurants will celebrate the fourth annual Oakland Restaurant Week January 17-26, 2014. We’ve dined at many of the restaurants that are participating including B-Side BBQ, Ozumo, The Fat Lady, Yoshi’s , Dona Tomas, Paragon, Camino, Italian Colors, Marzano, Mua, Forge, Lake Chalet, Lungomare, Desco, A Cote, Bellanico, Bocanova and Venga Paella and have had some fantastic meals. We look forward to dining at restaurants that we haven’t been to like A16, Chop Bar, Dopo, Pican, Rumbo Al Sur and Flora.
This annual ten day event provides diners with an opportunity to taste some of Oakland's finest cuisine with special meals and deals from the city's top restaurants. Oakland is one of the hottest food destinations in the country and Oakland Restaurant Week is an excellent opportunity for diners to experience fresh, unique flavors and creative menu pairings. The city is also extremely diverse, so diners will enjoy a variety of culinary options throughout the neighborhoods.
Prix fixe menus at $20, $30 and $40 will be offered for lunch and dinner and many restaurants will also include drink specials. Tickets and special passes are not required, but reservations are strongly recommended. For more details and information on participating restaurants go to: http://visitoakland.org/restaurantweek
