Four ways God reveals himself to mankind

Some say, "God's not there," because He hasn't revealed himself in any tangible way in a long time. Others say God is a creation of man's desire to find a purpose for being here. The current movie 'God's Not Dead' seeks to show those who will listen that God is still present. He is still in the world He created, fellow-shipping with His creation when His creation answers the call.

God is said to reveal his presence in the world in four ways:

Nature - Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” The Bible is clear the universe had a beginning, something which scientists have recently discovered and affirmed. Scientists call it the Big Bang Theory, those in the Christian community call it God speaking and the universe existed. Now the vastness and complexity of the heavens and the earth testify to the presence of God and His hand in their creation.

Personality - Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end." There is deep down inside of each person a "God shaped hole" which can only be filled by answering God's calling. While many try and ignore this calling it is still there and many try to fill the hole with anything but God.

Jesus - Matthew 11:27, "All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." Jesus was God's son come into the world. He came to show the world what God was actually like and how far God would go to show the world His love for His creation. Jesus arrival changed the course of history.

The Bible, 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof for correction, for instruction in righteousness." The Bible is God's inspired Word written down in order to remind mankind of His continued presence in the world. The Bible is the recorded history of God's relationship with mankind first to the nation of Israel then with all of mankind through Jesus. The Bible is not an outdated book, it is a book which has the same life, today, for those who read it as it did when God inspired each writer to put pen to paper.

These evidences are there for all to know God is still around, doing His work in the world. While many refute theses evidences or try to explain them away. The simple fact is the universe came into being, suddenly. Man has and always will have a strong internal desire to seek a high power, God. Jesus existed. the historical record accounts for the fact. The Bible is and always will be a book which changes lives.

There is however a more compelling argument for the existence of God, changed lives. Over the centuries millions of people have turned from paths of crime, sin, fruitless lives and degradation and answered God's call. They have become changed people who no longer live for themselves but others.

Don't take my word for it, examine the scriptures, weigh the evidence, see the movie, 'God's Not Dead,' do whatever it takes but make an educated reasoning about God not being there, before you make up your mind, your after life depends on your decision.
