Four Tet @ Empty Bottle Friday 2/19

Hot on the heels of his new album, There is Love in You, electronic-folk artist Four Tet will be stopping at Empty Bottle this Friday night. Over the course of a decade, Four Tet--real name Keiran Hebden--has managed to carve out a unique niche in the electronic music world, blending traditional jazz sounds with found-object samples and ghostly vocal loops. On There is Love in You, Hebden hones his craft with the ear of a seasoned DJ, setting his jazz-inspired creations over thumping, luminous backdrops. It's his most focused effort to date, and easily his most accessible. Fellow UK native Nathan Fake opens.

Tickets for both the 8 PM and 11 PM sets are available at the Empty Bottle or via Ticketweb for $15.
