These four beautiful cats in a shelter the midlands of South Carolina will die this week unless someone steps in and rescues them or adopts them, according to a posting made today by Pawmetto Lifeline.

The cats arrived at the shelter as strays, and no one has shown up to claims them. The shelters are quickly filling up with kittens, and this may very well be their last week alive unless someone comes forward and helps them.

HEART, an acronym for "Help Every Animal Reach Tomorrow", is a program run by Pawmetto Lifeline. These four cats are among many adoptable cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies sent out today on their daily mailing list. The pets are currently in kill-shelters in the Columbia area of South Carolina. All are sitting on "death row". Some are already past their euthanasia date and are living on borrowed time.

If you can help one or more of these pets, please contact info@heartofthemidlands.org.
