Four sides unbeaten in qualifying for FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015

Norway, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine remain perfect after February wins in qualifying matches for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.

Two days of qualifiers in Europe were played on Feb. 12 and Feb. 13, with 16 teams involved in eight matches.

On Wednesday, Switzerland won its fourth-straight match while Portugal improved to 2-0-2 after a 7-1 win.

In a vital Group Five match, Belgium drew 1-1 away against the Netherlands, who played the last 10 minutes with just 10 players on the pitch.

The Netherlands-Belgium draw (both teams are even on 10 points after five matches) allowed Norway to take command of the group standings with a win on Thursday. Norway won its away match 5-0 over Greece and now has 12 points after five matches.

And Ukraine won an away game 1-0 over Turkey while Serbia was victorious by a score of 3-0 on the road over Malta.

From Group Two, both Italy (6-1 over Czech Republic) and Spain (12-0 over FYR Macedonia) won on Thursday.
