Almost every dog lover wants to show off his or her fur babies. There are several methods of showing your dogs off to their adoring fans. Each method has its ups and its downs. It is important for you to consider the reason you want to show off your dogs before deciding to use one or more of these options.
Share on social media
Social media websites are one of the best ways for dog lovers to show off their animals. If your dogs are just pets, you can create albums for them on sites like Facebook or Flickr. If your animals are show dogs, acting dogs or breeding dogs, you can go one step above that and create fan pages on Facebook for them so that the public can enjoy your dogs. Each dog can have its own Twitter account, or you can just create one Twitter page for all your dogs. Google+ is another neat way to show off your dogs, as is Pinterest or Youtube. With all of these social media options, you have the benefit of sharing your dogs with anyone who is interested in them. You can even choose to share information to help others with their dogs, which is really easy with social media websites.
Start a blog
Free blogging websites like Blogger are excellent ways to show off your pets. Generally, these blogs make uploading pictures with posts simple. If you don’t want to have to spend any money on the blog, you don’t have to. Most free blog programs can be integrated into a paid website. Some, like Blogger, can host the entire website through partnerships with companies like GoDaddy. In most cases, you can add modules to the blog to enable people to follow the blog via an RSS feed or email.
Build a website
If you don’t mind spending some money on showing off your dogs, a website is a great option for you. Don’t worry—it isn’t really difficult to build your own website. GoDaddy offers an easy site builder option to help you get your new website up quickly. Yahoo! also has a site builder that you can use to show off your pets as fast as possible. With both of these options, you will also get at least one email address. That can make it easy for you to interact with the public without having to divulge your personal email address.
Put it all together
If you are really serious about your dogs, you can use a combination of all three of these options to show them off. This is a great idea for someone who has show dogs or dogs that are involved in the entertainment industry.
