Four More Critics Groups Name '12 Years a Slave' Best Picture of 2013

The critical praise for Steve McQueen's "12 Years a Slave" continued today as the Southeastern Film Critics Association, the Online Film Critics Society, the Dallas-Fort Worth Film Critics Association, and the Indiana Film Journalists Association all gave it their top honor. The film received a slew of other awards as well, including three of the four Best Actor categories for Chiwetel Ejiofor and another three out of four Best Supporting Actress categories for Lupita Nyong'o.

It's also great to note that "Gravity" is continuing its strong showing, taking two more Best Director wins for Alfonso Cuaron, three out of three Best Cinematography wins for Emmanuel Lubezki, and the only Best Editing category out of the four groups.
