On Sunday, less than 24 hours after the lifeless body of Angela Laudun, 33, was discovered in a remote area, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Deputies arrested and charged four Mexican nationals with her rape and murder.
According to the sheriff’s office, around 2:00 a.m., Saturday, the woman voluntarily left a Galliano bar with the men, at which time they drove her to a nearby house. Apparently, Laudin became concerned for her safety and tried to leave, but the men held her down and took turns raping her.
At some point, during the ordeal, she was strangled to death.
The men, then allegedly placed the woman’s body in their SUV, eventually dumping her in a heavily wooded area. A few hours later, the body was discovered by a man doing some work on his property.
Gonzalo Portillo Cortes, 20; Esdras Sanchez Garcia, 21; Louis Nava, 28; and Jose Castille Mareno, 23, have all been charged with aggravated rape and first-degree murder.
All four suspects work for Quality Shipyard in Houma, La., and while their employer claims that the men presented valid documents prior to their employment, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on them.
The alleged assailants are Mexican nationals and their interrogations had to be conducted in Spanish. They are currently being held in the Lafourche Parish Detention Center.

One woman raped by a foreignor is unacceptable! There have been an estimated million rapes and molestations of women and children by illegal aliens. Since the failed amnesty of 1986 there are new orchards along our southern borders. Rape trees grow there where females are regularly violated, as they cross the border. Obama, the Bush guys and Clinton have encouraged this lawlessness by doing NOTHING to secure our borders from invasion and occupation by criminals that disrespect our laws, culture and, most importantly, our people.

The four thug's employer, Quality Shipyard in Houma, LA, claims the "workers" presented "valid documents" -- right. Every employer knows they're getting fake social security cards, id's, etc. -- if they would VOLUNTARILY use E-Verify, then they'd "KNOW" they were getting valid documents. It's a game and I'm sick of employers getting away with it. Please make your voice heard with every company you do business with -- ask them if they use E-Verify. At least 75% of the time you'll get a blank stare, followed by a "huh?" This is then the opportunity to educate these poor uninformed employers and inform them that until they use E-Verify I will no longer be using their services! VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS!!! It's true these four goodwill ambassadors from the great nation of MExico(barf)should be hung be the neck until pronounced dead, but being the old school conservative I am, the story says the woman left voluntarily with them, which causes me to have not the slightest bit of sympathy. Employers of illegals should be pariahs in their communitees. Folks have to email them, make phone calls whatever -- no obscenities or threats, but let them know that you have a very low opinion of them. Everybody cares about what people think of them. Social pressure is an effective way to change the actions of some of these illegal-hiring businesses. This is something that we have control over, we cannot always control politicians but we can pick up the phone and let out feelings be known to the traitors who knowingly hire illegals.
