It doesn't appear to be up on Amazon.com yet, but Amazon.co.uk is listing a four-disc Beatles 1962-1970 box set (no cover image is shown there) for release in the UK Oct. 18, the same day the remastered two-disc Red and Blue sets are to be out there.
We've confirmed that the listing is legitimate, though there's been no decision on whether it'll be offered in the U.S. yet.
(Thanks to New York Rock Culture Examiner Jeff Slate for the tip.)

I bet you will be able to buy them both ways.....
They'll be available separately and together. Just depends on which way you want to go.
Don't bother!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK - How many more times will we be buying the same material just packaged abit differently?
We need to make a stand and let Apple know we are tired of supporting them when they give us almost no new material.
Come on people - JUST GET THE SET LIST AND COVER AND BURN YOUR OWN 1962 - 1970!!!
Sorry but I grew up with the red and blue albums on cassette tape. And I definitely want these reissues. For a lot of children of the 70s and 80s, these are the way we were introduced to the Beatles.
I can see why people would be upset with Apple for not releasing things they want to see released, but I don't see the problem with reissuing red and blue for those of us who don't want a huge box set, or can't afford it but can afford 2 CDs.
why???
Hey Neverforever, if you don't want to buy something, then don't.
Or are you 7 years old?
Unless these are remixed/remastered like the Yellow Sub Songtrack, and all stereo, then I dont see the point in buying them again. Id rather see a Capitol Albums Vol. 3, or Let It Be on dvd.
Got something to say?
